Since 2012, I have been a freelance guide on photographic expeditions in the Polar Regions, facilitating safe, close encounters with wildlife in some of the most remote and inhospitable reaches of the globe. In Antarctica, I work on larger ships for Quark Expeditions; in the Arctic, I work on small expedition vessels with various operators in the Svalbard Archipelago and Greenland, both as guide and expedition leader.

In the upcoming seasons, I will be a part of numerous photo expeditions in the Svalbard Archipelago, focusing on close photographic encounters with wildlife. The ships used for these expeditions, the M/S Freya and M/S Malmö, can accommodate up to 18 and 12 passengers respectively, in small and personalized expeditions that can be tailored to fit your goals and interests.

Booking is now open for the 2018 and 2019 Arctic seasons for expeditions to the Svalbard Archipelago and East Greenland. For dates, prices and other inquiries, please contact me directly. I am also available for private charters and custom-designed trips.
